Again my path let me to Engelsholm Castle, School for art and Music. I've come to a creative dead-end, and hoping for an inspiring kick in the butt, I took the time and money and went for week in complete ceramic zen.
The theme for the week was 'Lunch in the green' with focus on tableware. And the nature was on our side with the spring sun baking down and temperatures reminding one of summer. The noise of flowerbulps and leaves popping was compeeding with springcrazy bird, each one trying to wing lauder the the other. You could see the grass grow....
We were a group of mainly teachers with little clay experience, so the startingpoint was not so high but the end result quite impressive.
I haven't got so many photos of the process, because with 3 bisquefirings and two glazefirings in 5 days, everything went straight into the kiln.
Here's photos of our final exibit.
Et kig ud over bordet... A view of the table.
Every setting was divided in colors and we found a matching sentence from the schools songbook.
That is a beautiful way to display everyone's work!
